Kotoku is a special variety born in Aomori prefecture from a natural cross of a variety called Toko and was registed in 1985, however it was not popular due to its small ball size and uneven apperance until recent years.
It caught attention recently due to its honey well contained on the surface. The flesh is yellow with refreshing crispy texture. When you eat "Kotoku", the first thing you will taste is sweet pineapple sccent. You will be amazed at the elegant sweetness that spreads the moment you put in your mouth.
