This watermelon is come from Japan Gunma Hitorijime. As high in water content as other types of watermelons, this fine-textured flesh variety, with thin rind (<5mm!!) provides a "more volume" content for your enjoyment. The high level sweetness (11 brix and above) is due to the fact that the day (hot) and night (cold) temperature difference is big in Kumamoto, hence sweetening watermelon. The crispy texture is also one characteristic of this delicious fruit
